When downloading PhotoZoom Pro or Classic the browser says the file is unkown, unsafe or not commonly downloaded?
This happens most often with Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome when we just released a new update which is not known by Microsoft or Google yet. With Microsoft Edge you will typically see something like this: Click the three dots and then 'Keep': The following popup will appear, click 'Show more': You can now click 'Keep anyway': The program should now download normally.
After downloading PhotoZoom Pro or Classic and starting the Setup program, Windows Defender says the program is unrecognised?
In the warning that appears, click 'More info': It should now confirm the publisher is Ben Vista Ltd. and show a button 'Run anyway': If you click 'Run anyway', the Setup program will run normally.
What are the limitations of the demo versions of your software?
Our demo versions are fully functional, but have one restriction: the images you save will contain a watermark.
What are the differences between PhotoZoom Pro 9 and PhotoZoom Classic 9?
Are the software products on your download page demo versions or full versions?
All downloads can be used both as demo versions and full versions. The software will work as a demo version until you enter a valid unlock code. Once unlocked, the software will work as a full version which means it will no longer add watermarks to the images you save. You will receive an unlock code upon purchasing our software.
I lost my software. How do I get it back?
I lost my unlock code. How do I get it back?
If you purchased the software directly from BenVista or if you registered your license with us online, please contact us and we will send you your license details. If you bought our software through a reseller and did not register your license with us online, we do not have your purchase registered in our records. However, we may still be able to find back or replace your unlock code. Please contact us and include as many relevant details as possible, such as product name, reseller's name and website, and date of purchasing. Also, please let us know whether you purchased a boxed version or a download version, and whether you have an original invoice or order confirmation from the reseller. In case you still have a registered copy of the software installed somewhere, please start the software and click "About". The window that appears will show the first ten digits of your unlock code. If you email these ten digits to us, we should be able to find your full code in our records.
What are the advantages of PhotoZoom Pro 9 compared to my current PhotoZoom product?
I just updated my BenVista product, but now the software does not accept my unlock code. What is wrong?
You may have installed a product version that does not come as a free update, but instead requires an upgrade license. For example, if you are a registered user of PhotoZoom Pro 8, you will be able to update to the latest version of PhotoZoom Pro 8 for free, but for PhotoZoom Pro 9 you will need an additional upgrade license. Upgrade licenses can be ordered through our online store. If you do not wish to purchase an upgrade but want to continue using your current product, double check which product version exactly you have a license for (for example PhotoZoom Pro 8), and download it via the "previous products" section of our download page.
I have purchased an Upgrade to PhotoZoom Pro 9 or PhotoZoom Classic 9, but the software does not accept my unlock code. What should I do?
Please double-check for typing errors when entering your unlock code. Especially look for possible mix-ups of letters "S" with numbers "5", letters "B" with numbers "8", and letters "Z" with numbers "2". In some cases the software may ask you to provide additional unlock info (after your upgrade code was accepted). In such case, make sure to fill in all unlock info from your previous PhotoZoom product, which besides an unlock code may also include a specific name and email address. Should the problem persist, please let us know, and include any relevant license details you have. Also please specify where and when you have purchased the software.
The software does not accept my unlock code. What should I do?
First, make sure that you have installed the correct product version. For example, an unlock code for "PhotoZoom Pro 8" does not work with "PhotoZoom Pro 9", "PhotoZoom Classic 4", or "PhotoZoom Express 5" (and vice versa). If you have installed the wrong product version, please download the correct one from our download page. You may need to look in the "previous products" section to find the correct download. Please double-check for typing errors when entering your unlock code. Especially look for possible mix-ups of letters "S" with numbers "5", letters "B" with numbers "8", and letters "Z" with numbers "2". Should problems persist, please let us know, and include any relevant license details you have. Also please specify where and when you have purchased the software.

My antivirus or security software detects a (possible) threat in a BenVista product. Is BenVista's software safe to use?
Yes, we guarantee that all software products downloaded from the official BenVista download page are 100% safe. If your antivirus or security software detects a threat in a BenVista software product, it is either a false alarm or you have downloaded the software from a (probably unauthorized) 3rd party. When trying to run PhotoZoom on my Mac, I receive the following error: "PhotoZoom can't be opened because it is from an unidentified developer". Can this problem be resolved?
If you are using PhotoZoom 4 this problem can be bypassed by doing the following: 1. Control-click PhotoZoom 4 and choose "Open"; 2. in the window that appears, click the "Open" button. If you receive this error message while using PhotoZoom 3 or older, your PhotoZoom version is not compatible with your version of macOS or OS X. For full compatibility as well as lots of new features and improvements, we recommend to upgrade to PhotoZoom 9. |
